What is TB-500?
TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of thymosin-beta-4 (TB4), a natural regenerative peptide for most animal and human cells. TB4 is composed of 43 amino acids and is central to the wound healing process, primarily by regulating cell migration and promoting blood vessel growth. It is released by platelets and macrophages after injury to reduce the risk of inflammation, cellular damage and infection.
TB-500 maintains the biological activity of TB4, and both have been associated with a range of therapeutic effects in clinical studies.
